Here at Elevate RTC, we are currently working with a National Diary Business who is currently looking for a permanent team member who will be responsible for assisting the current Specifications Technologist to deal with an increase of workload within the development department. You will be reporting direct to the Specifications and Packaging Manager.
The successful Specifications Technologist Assistant will be tasked with the delivery of liaising with new product development (NPD) and procurement teams in order to ensure all new and existing products are fully compliant with their specifications and product wording. This manufacturer has recently grown in size and are expanding therefore they are seeking a permanent staff member to join the team on a permanent basis.
Working closely in the New Product Development (NPD) process alongside the technologists, you will support in document writing, such as raw material spec's, trial reports, shelf life and safety approval forms from customers while also dealing with large retailers.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of customer specification systems, understand factory processes and be competent in Microsoft Office packages.
