Night Shift Production Manager - Hertfordshire

ElevateRTC are proud to be partnering with a quality dessert business who are on the lookout for a Night Shift Production Manager. Passionate about all things sweet and tasty, you will join a successful team and managing 6 lines of production. The delicious products must be produced efficiently, safely and to the best quality. 

Role and Responsibilities;

• Conduct the daily morning production meetings with Technical, Planning and Engineering
• Actively encourage a safe environment and culture and maintain high standards of safety and hygiene throughout production
• Prepare and manage annual cost budgets for the factory
• Manage all training, holidays and absence within production, ensuring enough cover is achieved to fulfill production plans
• Attend and contribute to NPD meetings to assist with new product launches and trials
• Ensure that all the production team maintain a positive and a motivated outlook in the work environment
• KPI management

To apply for this role you must;

• Have substantial experience in an FMCG managerial / supervisory role
• Degree educated or equivalent training within food science/ process engineering/ transport / logistics / distribution
• Analytical with a strong mathematical ability
• Excellent team leadership skills
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment with ability to act decisively
• Demonstrate a successful track record in a chilled or frozen food factory
• KPI management

Please note this is a night shift role, working 7pm - 7am on a 4 on 4 off basis.
