Senior NPD Technologist - Leicestershire

ElevateRTC are working with a Snacking Business in Leicestershire who are looking for a real 'foodie' Senior NPD Technologist. Having invested in excess of £10m in new state of the art facilities, this business continues to go from strength to strength and is a really exciting time to join! Working on innovation for new products as well and continuing the quality, growth and flavour of existing, you will also be responsible for the following;

• Project manage NPD launches working with Operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing colleagues to deliver projects on time, on budget costs
• Complete safety risk analysis on quality and hygiene processes
• Liaise with both the customers and suppliers to ensure new products meet the NPD brief
• Request and provide product samples for sales team, customers, PR and other events
• Management of full innovation pipeline from concept to launch
• Lead annual idea generation sessions with key stakeholders/departments to feed into future innovation plans

To be considered for this role you will need;

• Food associated degree qualified
• Experience of working with key retailers desirable
• Full understanding of food manufacturing process
• Previous experience in a brand led New Product Development role is essential
