An exciting opportunity for an experienced FMCG Business Development / Account Manager has arisen with an ice cream business covering the North of England. This is a field based role and would suit a warm and friendly sales professional who is not adverse to daily travel. Ideally you will have some food background with a knowledge of the technical side of ingredients, but training of offered. 

Key responsibilities;

  • Regular customer visits to build on existing accounts and form new working relationships
  • Take a teaching approach with regards to making ice cream and the ingredients required to do so
  • Creating new recipes for ice creams
  • Reporting area information and attend regular sales meetings with Sales Director
  • Assisting other Account Managers as and when required

Requirements;

  • Previous experience within Sales / Account Management / Technical role
  • Willingness to travel
  • Working towards, hit and exceed targets

  • Starting salary £22,000 - £30,000 - DOE
