Project Engineer - England

We are looking to recruit a Project Engineer for a well known and fully automated distribution centre in the East Midlands.

The company are one of the largest retailers in the UK and are constantly opening up new stores in the United Kingdom. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking company who have ongoing projects across all distribution sites.

The Project Engineer role will involve the Engineering Project Manager and take a lead role in implementing network strategies. The role will also involve interpreting business data to support the development of projects and manage supplier performance, reporting progress to the Project Manager. 

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills or experiences 

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer 
• Experience within industries such as FMCG, Food, Packaging, Distribution or Retail
• Understanding of key business drivers associated to design projects
• Experience of seeing projects through their entirety and ensuring they are effectively closed
• Demonstrate analysis and problem solving capabilities

We are also interested in hearing from you if you have the following qualifications

• HND level qualification
• Time-served apprenticehip or degree in engineering/logistics
• Recognised engineering qualification

The Project Engineer role attracts a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 plus car allowance. The role also offers a great company pension scheme, other additional company benefits and opportunity to progress.
