I am currently working with an award-winning bakery who are looking for a Production Bakery Manager with manufacturing and packaging management responsibilities to meet the continued growth that they have in place. I am seeking a focused and dynamic individual, who has experience in bakery and production management gained within a bakery or a confectionary manufacturing company if possible.

This role is suitable for someone with previous management experience within a retail or food manufacturing environment and who has strong management skills. Being a small friendly business, the role is supported by the owner, Managing director and the general manager as well as a close team.

Who will I be working with?

The company is a renowned bakery that is supplying some of the largest UK events including Wimbledon! It supplies products into major supermarkets, independent retailers and wholesalers. The award-winning business has been expanding for some time now due to customer demand and therefore they are wanting to grow their team. The business heavily invests into the development of employees and infrastructure to build upon the success, with recognition and reward high on the agenda – They truly care about their staff at all levels. They are looking for a bakery manager to come onto site and set KPI’s and put structure within the business. Because of the size of the business they will oversee that packaging and then production departments therefore someone with experience in both is desirable.

You will be employed on a permanent contract, working full time hours, 5 days a week within Monday to Saturday. The salary for this role will reflect the successful applicants current experience although they are looking around £25,000 to £35,000 per year. Free parking on site and pension are also offered as part of the benefits package.

The correct person for the role will be able to lead while keeping their team happy. Be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate the team and introduce change where needed. Be create and strategic while having excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
