The company are a family owned business and one of the largest suppliers in Europe. They supply to retailers and foodservice across the globe and are looking to increase their engineering capacity as a result.
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias, who has experience working in a similar environment whether that be food or another fast paced manufacturing environment. The role will involve general maintenance of the production machinery whilst adhering to all health and safety procedures.
We are looking for someone with the following skills or experiences
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a food or manufacturing environment
- Resolving machine breakdowns within a production environment
- Experience with PLC’s, invertors, motors, 3 phase and single phase etc
- Responsible for planned maintenance on site and setting up PPM schedules within a manufacturing environment
- Adherence to current health & safety and hygiene practices
We are also interested in speaking with you if you have the following qualifications
- Formal engineering qualification (HNC/City & Guilds/BTEC/NVQ)
- Time served apprenticeship (electrical or multi-skilled)
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
The Maintenance Engineer role attracts a salary of between £35,000 - £40,000, and is on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern rotating days and nights. The role offers overtime availability at 1.5x hourly rate and excellent career progression.
