Manufacturing Manager - London

We are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Manager for a well known, market leading and rapidly expanding food production company based in Enfield, North London.  

The company have been established for many years, are part of a much larger group, and have manufacturing sites all over the UK. They have recently experienced a major investment into the site, and there has been major investment into new machinery, lines and products, along with out buildings and infrastructure. The company specialise in the production and packaging of oils, creams, sauces and spices. 

The Manufacturing Manager role will involve reporting into the Site General Manager, and will have responsibility for fifty members of staff on site. The role will also take responsibility for all production lines on site, taking into account budgets, targets, KPI's and continuous improvement.

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills and experiences

  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Engineering Manager, Shift Manager
  • Experience of managing a team of staff within a fast moving production environment
  • Knowledge of setting up manufacturing budgets and ensuring results match the company standards and requirements
  • Driving front line management with objectives and practices to ensure KPI's are met
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience of motivating and mentoring colleagues to achieve the highest standards

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following qualifications

  • Manufacturing/Science/Engineering degree 
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification
  • HACCP level 2
  • Food Hygiene certification

The Manufacturing Manager role attracts an attractive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 with excellent company benefits including bonus structure, health scheme, pension, cycle to work, excellent holiday allowance.
