We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager for a well known and highly reputable food manufacturing company in Cambridgeshire.

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager with a real passion for engineering, someone who has a proven track record in managing a team of engineers and someone who works well under pressure.

The company are a major player in fresh produce, and supply into most of the major retailers. They are seeking a manager who will be in charge of a the engineering team, consisting of team leaders and multi-skilled engineers, and will be reporting into the head of engineering for the site.

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills and experiences,

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager within food manufacturing
  • Previous experience in managing a team of multi-skilled engineers 
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering budgets and performance indicators
  • Pro-active approaches to engineering including continuous improvement implementation
  • Hand on approach to management and engineering
  • Understanding and knowledge of health and safety procedures

We are also interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills and experiences

  • Recognised engineering qualifications
  • Time-served apprenticeship
  • Electrical qualifications
  • Management training course

The Maintenance Manager role attracts a salary of £40-45,000 per year, with 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays). The role is a Monday - Friday role 8.30am - 5pm.
