Maintenance Engineer - Surrey

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well established and multi-site food manufacturing company in South West London.

The company specialise in the manufacturing and production of fresh and frozen seafood and supply to major retailers all over the UK. They have two very well established sites in the UK, and are currently expanding their product range and contracts. 

The Maintenance Engineer role will involve both reacting to faults and scheduling maintenance procedures. The role will also involve working alongside a team to meet performance KPI's and ensure all plant machinery and equipment is fully operational. 

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills and experiences

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer, Shift Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Technician
  • Previous experience working as a team of engineers to reduce downtime of plant machinery
  • Implementing continuous improvement methods to improve production performance
  • Project management and budget requirements
  • Reactive breakdowns and PPM schedules

We are interested in hearing from you if you have the following qualifications

  • Time served engineering apprenticeship 
  • 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ/BTEC/HNC/HND/City & Guilds)
  • PLC training
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement
