Maintenance Engineer - London

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join one of the UK's leading food manufacturing companies at their sites in North London.

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a real passion for engineering, someone who works well under pressure, and has a proven track record in problem solving.

The company are a leading UK food manufacturer, who have sites nationwide. They supply all of the UK major retailers with the finest and most available food 2 go and ready meals.

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills and experiences

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• Food industry experience
• Reactive and PPM maintenance
• Working as part of an engineering team to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
• Continuous improvement methodolgies

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualifications
• Time-served engineering apprenticeship
• 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
• PLC training/qualifications
• Electrical training

The salary for the Maintenance Engineer role is £35,000, and is on a permanent days based shift Sunday - Thursday 14.00 - 22.00. The role also offers an excellent holiday package.

This will be a challenging role and will test the very best of Maintenance Engineer. However if you work well within a team of engineers, enjoy problem solving and responding to breakdowns then this role is definitely for you!
