Maintenance Engineer - England

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join a fast moving food industry company based in Thatcham, Berkshire.

We are on the search for a Maintenance Engineer with a passion for maintenance and someone who is a proven problem solver.

The company specialise in the production of branded chutneys, pickles and condiments for all the major retailers. They are a multi site company and a 24 hour operation.

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills and experiences,

• Have similar experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a similar role within the food or FMCG industry
• Have experience of planned and reactive maintenance
• Knowledge of fault finding methodologies
• Working as a team of engineers implementing continuous improvement methodologies and project management
• Experience in electrical installations, welding or fabrication

We are also interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship
• ONC/HNC/BTEC or NVQ in engineering
• 16th/17th Edition Wiring Regulations
• PLC Fault Finding

The Maintenance Engineer role offers a salary of £40,000 - £45,000, on a continental shift pattern 6am - 6pm (two weeks) and 6pm - 6am (two weeks) on four on four off.

The role will be challenging and test the best of engineers ability. However if you are a proven problem solver and a team player then this role is definitely for you.
