Maintenance Engineer - Warwickshire

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a food manufacturing company in the West Midlands. They supply to a wide range of customers including wholesale, foodservice and business to business as well.

The Maintenance Engineer role involves working alongside a team of engineers, servicing and maintaining production equipment and ensuring the factory is running at full capacity.

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills and experiences,

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within food manufacturing/processing
  • Reactive and planned maintenance procedures
  • Electrical engineering experience (fault finding on PLC’s, electrical installations, testing etc)
  • Knowledge of health & safety requirements plus hygiene standards within a food production facility
  • Working alongside a team of production operatives and multi-skilled engineers

We are also interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following qualifications

  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, HNC)
  • Time-served engineering apprenticeship
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

In the Maintenance Engineer role you will earn in the region of £35,000 - £40,000 and is a day shift position (early starts) with overtime available at weekends.

The Maintenance Engineer role will involve plenty of hours but you will certainly be remunerated for it. It will keep you busy and provide plenty of hands on experience within a food manufacturing environment.
