Maintenance Engineer - Berkshire

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on a days based shift (Monday - Friday) for a well established and vastly expanding food manufacturing business based in Buckinghamshire.

The company are a well known food manufacturer of bakery goods and have three sites across the UK,  are part of a wider group within Europe. They are currently expanding and are looking for an engineer to join the team to assist with extra work load and company needs.

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a keen eye for detail, someone who has a passion for engineering and someone who works well both in a team and under their own initiative.

 We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills and experiences

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the food industry
  • Reactive breakdowns and scheduled PPM maintenance
  • Fault diagnostics both electrical and mechanical
  • Monitoring and reporting downtime and raising such issues with Site Managers
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations on site

We are also interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following qualifications

  • ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Recognised Engineering qualifications
  • Time-served electrical apprenticeship

The Maintenance Engineer role attracts a salary of £37,000 and is on a Monday - Friday shift pattern (7am - 4pm). 

The Maintenance Engineer role will be a challenge and will test the skills of any Maintenance Engineer. However if you are motivated and would like to get involved with an excellent business who are going in the right direction then this role is definitely for you!
