Here at Elevate RTC, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a national dairy food manufacturing business, which is looking for an excellent Technical Manager to join the West Midlands team. This is an interim role while the company hire on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone to start at the end of April or beginning of May if possible.
They are an established and energetic business; the role will be an integral part of the technical team managing a key product line within the dairy sector & a portfolio of International Suppliers. Working with imported ambient food products, this role will take responsibility for the technical management of a retail account on a daily basis, being involved with retail specifications, new product development, factory audits, and customer visits. With a passion for food, the successful individual will be part of a hard-working, dedicated, and flexible team who strive for success.
With a strong background in technical management within the Food sector, previous customer & supplier facing contact is essential, having covered supplier audits internationally with a high level of confidence, and the ability to effectively build customer relationships being key.
*Have knowledge of the BRC packaging and/or food standard
*Have knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 and the QMS
*Have quality assurance experience within a Food manufacturing or Food packaging business
*Be driven to implement change
*Have a good understanding of modern lean manufacture techniques, problem solving etc.
*Have the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels;
*Be able to coach, train and lead
