Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Manager (QA) within Food Manufacturing especially in th dairy sector? Are you passionate about driving improvements and really making a difference within a company? Here at Elevate RTC we have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading manufacturing business based in the West Midlands. You will be solely responsible for the leadership and management of the quality team, and will work closely with the business to maintain a programme of continual improvement with the small team.
The role of a Quality Assurance Manager include: *Coach, develop and manage the quality assurance team *Manage customer complaints, driving a swift response to the customer *Identify and agree any projects which could improve the quality of the process or product *Identify product Innovation solutions that improve line efficiency or product quality *Coach and develop problem solving techniques within production teams *Devising and establishing the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications *Conduct supplier evaluations, specifying quality requirements of raw materials *Monitor non-conformances, drive root cause analysis projects and implement preventive / corrective actions as necessary *Be responsible across all aspects of the business for ensuring that all employees take quality seriously *Monitor quality control results, work with internal departments to ensure test methods and procedures are correct *Manage KPI's, create reports to be shared with suppliers, internal departments and customers Experience/Skills required *Have knowledge of the BRC packaging and/or food standard *Have knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 and the QMS *Have quality assurance experience within a Food manufacturing or Food packaging business *Be driven to implement change *Have a good understanding of modern lean manufacture techniques, problem solving etc. *Have the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels;
