Head of Engineering / Engineering Manager - England

Are you an experienced Head of Engineering or Engineering Manager within Food Manufacturing industry? Are you passionate about managing a team and really making a difference within a company?

Here at Elevate RTC we have an opportunity for a Head of Engineering or Engineering Manager to join a leading manufacturing business based in Northampton. You will be solely responsible for the leadership and management of the engineering team, and will work closely with the business to maintain a programme of continual improvement within the team.

The company who we are recruiting for are working exclusively with us in order to source the highest quality candidate with a strong engineering background within the Food Manufacturing Industry. This role is an interim role lasting around 6 months that may be extended until appointing a permanent member of staff.  This is very successful, young and creative FMCG manufacturers who are only going from strength to strength and wanting to expand the team to suit the workflow.

Experience/Skills required
*Have knowledge of the BRC packaging and/or food standard
*Have Engineering management experience within a Food manufacturing or Food packaging business 
*Be driven to implement change and promote the best for your team
*Have a good understanding of modern lean manufacture techniques, problem-solving etc.
*Have the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels;

*Be able to coach, train and lead
