Head Butcher - Cheshire

I am looking to speak to experienced butchers who are looking for a new and exciting role within the industry. My client is an award-winning farm shop in Flintshire, just 15 minutes from Chester. The busy farm shop offers a wonderful family day out, with our new adventure play area, ping pong and rope swing, pick-your-own fruit and veg, nature trail, Smoke Shack with its outdoor wood fired oven and Welsh ice cream. 

The Role

As Head Butcher your primary role will be to lead the butchery team in all its tasks.

You role will also involve:

• Promote and ensure high and constant standards from your team.
• Using traditional butchery skills to prepare all meat and meat products.
• Provide an excellent product range whilst focusing on seasonality.
• Excellent customer services levels.

The Individual

We are seeking someone who has proven experience, you will need to demonstrate leadership skills, have experience of butchery management, product development, setting targets and direction as well as motivating others.

• Traditional butchery skills.
• Butchery Management
• Passion for local and excellent quality food, food retail and customer services.
• Experience running a butchery or butchery department..
• Excellent staff management and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be awarded with a competitive salary up to £25,000 for this excellent Head Butchers position.
