Factory Manager - Devon

We are currently on the look-out for a talented Factory Manager to join a well-established food manufacturer based in South Devon. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing all aspects of the Factory to ensure safe supply of finished goods (circa 65 SKUs) to the customer as per product specification. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all site based production staff (circa 30 – 40) with full operational responsibility (Production, Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain).
• Ensure stock availability to meet customer demand.
• Limiting waste through Forward Planning and Reacting to changing customer demands.
• Manage waste levels in the Factory and through the supply chain.
• Cost control in every aspect of the Factory activities.
• Setting key performance indicators and reviewing with managers.
• Achieve and effectively communicate all KPIs in line with site operational plans.
• Make agreed changes to procedures, methods and equipment to improve profitability through continuous improvement methodology
• Responsible for all site Safety systems.
• Responsible for the Factory Budget.
• Contribute to projects involving purchasing of equipment.

In return for meeting the above criteria the successful candidates will be rewarded with a competitive salary in the region of £35,000 - £40,000 (dependant on skills and experience).
