We are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager for a well established and rapidly expanding food manufacturing company based in Buckinghamshire. 

The company have a vast array of products associated with the ambient market, and they also manufacture on site via their flour mill. The Engineering Manager role will involve working alongside a number of Multi-skilled Engineers, reporting into the Operations Manager. 

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in managing a team of engineers within the food or FMCG industry. The Engineering Manager will be tasked with improving the overall efficiency of the plant, and reducing downtime of machinery. 

We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following skills or experiences, 

  • Previous experience as an Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Team Leader
  • Understanding of management of a team of engineers
  • Previous experience of improving overall plant efficiency
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures within the food industry
  • Continuous Improvement implementation and project management
  • Budget management and overseeing of new machinery installations

We are also interested in hearing from you if you have the following qualifications

  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds/HNC/ONC)
  • Engineering degree
  • Time-served engineering apprenticeship
  • Management training

The Engineering Manager role attracts a competitive annual salary of £45,000 - £50,000, with 20 days (exclusive of bank holidays) holidays and a generous company pension.
